Time Management
Educationally, this quarter was incredibly challenging, and pushed my time management abilities with all the heavy assignments and projects to balance. However, a deeper exploration in BioE has only continued growing my interest in the field, and helped push my motivation for different aspects of professional development. I was able to reach out to a new potential mentor in the field, and had assigned time to reflect on my goals for the future. Additionally, I was able to learn a lot more about myself, and what workflows worked best for me. Especially rewarding was working on a quarter-long heart valve project, with all the prototypes shown on the left!
Makers Fair
Over the summer, I started exploring new forms of creative expression, and happened to really enjoy making jewelry. It has been a goal of mine since I discovered the UW Maker's Fair to table, and was finally able to do so this quarter! I had a lot of fun preparing stock throughout the quarter and interacting with several UW students during the fair.
