Expanding Network
Winter quarter had a less heavy workload for me, allowing me to focus on expanding the amount of things I wanted to focus on outside of school. I started searching for internships, I was able to commit more time to clubs, and I started meeting a new mentor that I was pushed to connect with through a past class module for professional development. I also really enjoyed the lab class this quarter, as I got experience with research and method design outside of my familiar lab environment. Shown to the left are alginate beads used as a method of drug delivery!
Extracurriculars
I was able to add more things that I had been wanting to work on outside of school, and experiment with having different things with my schedule this quarter! A club that had been taking a break started back up again, and it was fun being involved in a different community. I helped print posters, shown to the right, along with other logistical planning help.

Quarter Summary
This quarter allowed for a lot of exploration for me, but was more of an intermediate step. In BioE, we were wrapping up core classes, and I was excited to start exploring electives in my next quarter. Clubs were starting to take up more time, but I was still more school heavy, and lab was continuing similarly. I felt like this quarter was mostly preparing for spring, but I still had a good time!
