Artifact 1
Art is a large part of my life. I've been drawing since I remember, and throughout the autumn quarter, I've been exploring digital art more, as it's been an easy form of art and a productive break from schoolwork. I created this piece in representation of the frustration I had been facing throughout the quarter, but also in a desire to break from traditional schooling and find my own passion in learning. Simply memorizing and writing concepts is easy to do, but making sure I grasp the concepts behind them and find out how to apply them is something I am working towards, and something I attempted to display.
Artifact 2
This is a photo from the first lab I did this quarter. Lab work is something that I've always enjoyed, and I was extremely excited to see what we would be doing in college. While the experiment itself was a bit different from typical wet lab work, as it was working with a laser, I still had fun in the new lab setting and getting introduced to the lab area. I've had a lot of fun doing labs, and I'm excited to continue lab work and see where we go in the next few quarters!

Artifact 3
This is a pumpkin that me and my friends decorated for Halloween! I've had a lot of struggles with schoolwork and studying, and I was excited to be able to relax a little with friends and enjoy the holiday. This was an important reminder for myself to make sure to continue adding breaks from work and continue creating important relationships for me to enjoy my college experience. I'm glad to have known friends that encouraged me to enjoy the holiday, and I hope to share these experiences with friends in the future.
