Classes
This quarter was much better for me academically - having a break for summer allowed me to start the quarter with more motivation, and making new friends helped me balance my schoolwork and personal rest much better. Additionally, as I had the past year to adjust to the types of work and best organization methods for me, I could really focus on managing my time and being able to spend more time studying and practicing well for exams. This paid off especially in my Math 207 course, as shown to the left!
Clubs
Along with my better time management came more free time for me to start exploring outside extracurriculars at UW. At the end of last year, I joined the UW Husky Jam club due to several connections and interest after seeing a couple of their events, and was finally able to start contributing this quarter. Shown to the right is a t-shirt design I created for the largest project Husky Jam has done: the Green Groove - in collaboration with the Green Greeks at UW. I have also recently applied for the UW Human-powered Submarine club, and am looking forward to seeing where I get next quarter!

Quarter Summary
Overall, fall quarter was much more enjoyable for me, even with the increased workload. I was originally concerned due to the increase in STEM classes taken (3 vs 2 - as done last year) and a new living situation (apartments close to UW instead of dorms), but making friends and having a much better organization system allowed for a more comfortable quarter. I've started using Notion more efficiently, and having support from friends - in organization and staying on top of apartment responsibilities from my roommate and in humor and general exploration of UW from new friends - helped me better maintain my happiness.
